About Coach Joe Horn
Joe Horn (Graduate of Ashland University Class of '10) just finished his second season as Wide Receivers Coach. This group was lead by All-American Charles Hollard who will be returning for his senior season after receiving a medical redshirt this past season. Holland has had interest from the NFL. Prior to coming to TU Horn spent two seasons coaching receivers at his Alma Mater Ashland. During his playing time at Ashland he was one of the best receivers in the schools history. He shares the schools single-game record for touchdowns (six), and he also holds the school single-season record for touchdown receptions (12). He also holds records for career touchdown receptions (28) receiving yards (2,681) and he is second all-time in career catches (170). Horn was also a member of the track and field team at Ashland and he was selected as the GLIAC runner of the year four times (indoors and outdoors). Horn was also a 12 time All-American while at Ashland. After his time at Ashland was over Horn singed a free agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts, where he participated in three preseason games with the Colts. He also spent time with the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League as well as the Cleveland Gladiators and Tampa Bay Storm in the Arena Football League.
